Gidsy goes Mushroom Hunting!

Last weekend, as a part of Schmiede’s Gidsy Day, a group of the Gidsy team and some Schmiede participants went on a mushroom hunt in the mountains around Hallein, Austria. 

Since the idea for Gidsy was stemmed from a failed mushroom hunt, we were all super excited to join our CTO Phil’s brother Ruediger (who did the whole hunt barefoot, by the way!) who is a local mushroom expert. We picked a bunch of different kind of mushrooms, and had a delicious taste test at the end of the day. It was a totally full circle moment for Gidsy, especially since our founders actually met at Schmiede!
