Spotlight on: EyeEm Mobile Imaging Masterclass
Last Friday, our friends at EyeEm hosted a really neat Mobile Imaging Masterclass, where everyone learned all about the magic of mobile phone photography, and then put this new knowledge to use on a photo walk.
Here is a snapshot of some of the amazing shots that were captured throughout the evening.
Award winning photographers and filmmakers Jack Hollingsworth, Neill Barham, Michael Koerbel, and Jonathan Houser all spoke eloquently and beautifully on their conversions to mobile photography before the photo walk took everyone to the streets of Mitte, full of inspiration and desire to capture not just images, but to tell stories, and “create art in the moment,” as Neil said.
Here’s a photo Lorenzo Pilia snapped of Jack showing all sorts of gear that can be used with your mobile device to create even more interesting stories.
274 photos were taken throughout the evening, and you can take a look at them all here. Everyone had a great time taking photos and getting to know each other. And how cool is it that the entire event was documented in one album from 42 different points of view?
To keep things interesting, an EyeEm goodie pack was awarded to the person with the most breathtaking capture of the night.
